রাষ্ট্রপতি হিসেবে তিনি যেন দল-মতের ঊর্ধ্বে উঠে দেশের সকল নাগরিকের রাষ্ট্রপতি হিসেবে দায়িত্ব পালন করেন—এটাই প্রত্যাশা। বাংলাদেশের মানুষের অধিকার, গণতন্ত্র, আইনের শাসন, শান্তি ও জাতীয় ঐক্য আরও সুদৃঢ় করার ক্ষেত্রে তাঁর ভূমিকা গুরুত্বপূর্ণ হবে বলে আশা করি।
আল্লাহ তাঁকে সুস্বাস্থ্য, দীর্ঘায়ু ও প্রজ্ঞা দান করুন এবং তাঁর ওপর অর্পিত দায়িত্ব সততা ও নিষ্ঠার সঙ্গে পালন করার তৌফিক দিন।

জনগণ প্রতিশ্রুতি নয়, বাস্তব সমাধান চায়। রাজনৈতিক বক্তব্য নয়—চায় নিরবচ্ছিন্ন বিদ্যুৎ, পর্যাপ্ত গ্যাস, কর্মসংস্থান এবং স্বাভাবিক জীবনযাপনের নিশ্চয়তা।
দেশের মানুষকে অন্ধকারে রেখে উন্নয়নের গল্প বলা নয়—প্রথমে মানুষের মৌলিক সমস্যার সমাধান করুন।

Saudi Arabia has announced plans for a 14-country maritime defence coalition aimed at protecting international shipping and energy supply routes in the Red Sea.

The announcement comes after Yemen's Iran-aligned Houthi group claimed attacks on Saudi oil infrastructure and tankers and declared a maritime embargo on the Kingdom.

The coalition includes Bahrain, Bangladesh, Djibouti, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Nigeria, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Turkey and Yemen, with a focus on strengthening regional maritime security and safeguarding one of the world's busiest trade corridors.
