i haťe to admit it but they were right.. you kind of need to disappear, lock in like crazy, raise your standards, and refuse to lower them to get your dream life.
Eventually you get to a point where winning becomes the bare minimum and expectation. Keeping yourself motivated to keep striving for more and keep hitting new highs is the real battle. You vs you everyday.
