This Nigerian lady who teaches at a school in Japan broke down the Japanese style of learning that makes them very intelligent and productive.
I think this is smart learning. It will be helpful to Nigerian students, if it is adopted in our educational system.✍️
The Human-Design Theory.
Why Humans Were Never Created to “Work”
A fascinating but uncomfortable truth, one that history, biology, and anthropology quietly support, is this;
Humans were never originally designed to work the way we do today.
If you look back at human evolution, the modern pattern of working eight to twelve hours a day is extremely recent. The entire modern human lifestyle is barely 4000 to 5000 years old, which is nothing compared to the hundreds of thousands of years humans lived as hunters, gatherers, and nomadic tribes.
The Original Human Design
For most of human history, life was simple and biologically aligned.
Humans were built to do only three things:
1. Hunt or gather food
2. Eat and survive
3. Reproduce and continue the species
That was it.
There were no offices, no industries, no work schedules, no constant running behind goals. Human energy systems, body structures, cortisol cycles, and dopamine responses were never wired for the continuous, never ending grind that modern life demands.
Then Came Capitalism, the Real Shift
The real turning point was not agriculture, not kingdoms, not even industrialization.
It was capitalism, the moment humans started wanting more than just survival.
Capitalism created:
- More products
- More comforts
- More luxuries
- More social comparison
- More ambition
- More desire for status
This psychological shift convinced people that survival was not enough anymore.
Now they wanted lifestyle, prestige, identity, possessions, and experiences.
And to acquire those things, humans began to work in the modern sense.
Not because the body was designed for it, but because the mind started desiring more than the body truly needs.
Work Became an Obligation, Not a Design
The truth is, if a human today chooses not to marry, not to chase materialistic dreams, and not to run behind society’s idea of success, they can still live a peaceful, stable, comfortable life with very little effort.
This is why you see many people living in:
- Mountains
- Forest regions
- Low materialistic communities
- Spiritual towns
- Minimalist societies
They live well, peacefully, and with a quality of life that does not require the modern grind. They are living closer to the original human template.
Capitalism Created Infinite Desire
Human desire today has no end.
There is always a better car, a bigger house, a newer gadget, a more lavish lifestyle.
So humans keep working, not for survival, but to satisfy an ever expanding list of psychological wants.
This is the core idea behind the theory:
Humans were never designed to work.
Capitalism designed the lifestyle that forced humans to work.
And human desire keeps the cycle alive.
