Something is wrong with the stars and there's no-one left to explain. Homeostasis, my indie retro-horror game where you drive around the antarctic to collect abandoned research data, is releasing on the 10th of August 2026!
Watch the release date reveal below:
Announcing Homeostasis! My indie horror game where you navigate the desolate snowscape of Antarctica in your vehicle and have to recover research data from abandoned stations for your employers.
Maybe recovering research data from the freezing desolate Arctic wasn't the worst job... you could've ended up collecting data on an eldritch flesh-planet. *shivers*
If fleshy planets are up your alley (I don't judge), check out the upcoming Coagulation Station FLESHFALL!
I'm super excited to announce:
πFleshfall is coming to Steam!
πYou can wishlist it below!
For new game devs, the hardest part is always getting the word out there, so reposts are greatly appreciated β€οΈππ₯³

A preview of our shader used for drawing some of the retro screen effects in homeostasis!
For the nerds: The drawing is done using a compute shader which is fed data preprocessed from an svg file. Making this was hella fun and looks great in-game.

@igdmag@igdtrailers Me and a friend developed Homeostasis, a retro horror game where you drive around the Antarctic and have to retrieve research data from old decommissioned research sites.
If it seems up your alley, wishlist here:

@GamefolioGG We've been making Homeostasis, an atmospheric retro horror game where you have to drive around the desolate snowscape of the antarctic and venture into deccomissioned research sites for your employer.
@3rdEchoSounds We're making a retro horror game "Homeostasis", where you have to drive around the desolate lands of the antarctic and retrieve research data from decommissioned research sites!
@HorrorUntitled For some reason my simple indie-horror-gamedev brain kicked in and assumed this is one of those educationment-disguised analogue horror games haha
The snow rover in my horror game is actually based on a real Russian truck 'Kharkovchanka-1' made in Ukraine during the Cold War to race Americans to the north pole!
It has such a cool and unique industrial design that it immediately inspired me to make a short game around it
