@JdawgKaiSigma@Pat_Stedman@gbamfs I’m pretty sure gay male gamers are just as pissed if not more than us straight men about what has happened to the gaming hobby. What used to be a celebration of everything male has become sanitized. Gaymers must be pissed tbh.
@JdawgKaiSigma@Pat_Stedman I’m thinking with maximum brain power here and I simply cannot find a single benefit for gay men in a more feminine society. Everything that affects us straights affects you guys too. Maybe even worse.
Ha. I appreciate but I must say what I mean literally. Women taking over whole industries that were previously male, turning whole hobbies and making them feminine, sanitizing all of culture, taking opportunities for men. These impact gay men too. I’m sure lots of gay men felt the brunt of unequal treatment at school at the hands of overbearing feminists that hated everything male. This is a fight that impacts all men, not just straight ones, and I think it’s to our benefit to maybe unite on this.

I'm well aware. My question was purely rhetorical. Wood is biodegradable. Ships like the Titanic are made of metal. In order for their argument to work they would need a larger pool of examples of pre-modern made wooden ships. Most wooden ships aren't going to last.

@Fritz_tamer@ItsLaneBTW@Zomb01YT The point is, a character who has a lot to learn simply gives the narrative more places to go than an hero that has every skill mastered in the first episode. There’s more room to grow and more room for the world to expand.
@ItsLaneBTW@Zomb01YT Again, narratives need structure. Reasoning. Aang needs to learn to Earthbend so he journeys to the Earth nation. His need for skills gives an excuse for the narrative to take us to another place.
You're trying to be miss the point on purpose. Him needing to go to different nations to learn to bend was the point, even if it came to him easily. He goes to find Toph specifically so she can teach him to Earth bend. If he knows already, there's no reason to travel, therefore erasing the story of its adventure template. Same for Aang needing a fire teacher. If a character can already do all the elements, there's no need to find a teacher. No teacher, no need for adventure. Stop being obtuse.
