Albert Belle argues steroid-era players belong in the Hall of Fame, saying guys mostly used them for recovery and still had to execute
Albert Belle: "I could've gotten it, but at the time, I weighed 225. I didn't think I could perform at a high level weighing 250 or 260. I didn't want to put on that much weight because I didn't know the side effects. I was already putting up 40 HRs and 120 RBIs, so I was happy with that."
Albert Belle: "Most of the guys doing it, it was for recovery. It is such a beating on the body playing game after game. At some points, you had to play 28 straight games before you had an off day, so guys just wanted to recover faster."
Albert Belle: "No matter if you were throwing 90, 95, or 100, you still got to execute. If you're bigger, you still got to hit the ball."
Albert Belle: "I think those guys should be in the Hall of Fame. If people had a problem with it, they should've brought it up a lot sooner instead of waiting until it gets to a congressional hearing."

Tom Magee vs Bret Hart - which goes down in history as the most incredible missing match by hardcore fans
We thought that footage of this bout had been lost forever, until @marykayfabe discovered she had a tape of it... 🔥
Jordan Belfort stole $200 million from ordinary investors. He was convicted of securities fraud and money laundering.
He served 22 months. Not years. Months.
A court ordered him to pay $110 million back to his victims. In 20 years he paid $14 million. That is 13 cents on the dollar. Over two decades.
While his victims were still waiting for their money, Hollywood made a movie about him. Leonardo DiCaprio played him. The movie made $400 million at the box office.
People left the theater wanting to be him. Not one scene showed the retirees who lost their savings. Not one scene showed the families who couldn't pay rent because their broker lied to them on the phone.
Belfort now charges $75,000 per speaking appearance. He teaches "sales techniques." Corporations pay him to motivate their employees. The same techniques he used to rob people are now sold as leadership training.
He wrote a book about how he did it. He sold millions of copies. He made more money from the crime than from the crime.
His victims still haven't been fully repaid.
There is footage from the actual trial and the people he destroyed. Not the movie version. The real version. The one Hollywood didn't want you to see.
It is below.
He stole $200 million. Served 22 months. Paid back 13%. Now he sells out arenas teaching people how to sell. His victims still haven't been paid. And you bought a ticket to his show. Who's the wolf now?
Johnny Manziel says he burned through $100,000 in casino credit after Cleveland cut him, then forgot about the debt until a call gave him 24 hours to pay it back
“I remember, after I get cut in Cleveland, I learned about casino credit and getting a wire and walking to the table and taking $100K out and being like, ‘All right, start with 10, lose it, another 10, 20,’ and you look up by the end of a weekend, you’re going out and you’re drinking and you just fly through a hundred grand.”
“No problem, no worries. Chasing, just a tough spot to be in. I remember forgetting about it, going on another trip and going on a run and then getting a call like, ‘Yo, you have 24 hours until you pay this marker off or the people in Las Vegas are going to send a felony conviction out for your ass and they’re coming to get you.’”
“And it was like, ‘Oh, we got to get 100 grand to this Cosmo right now or all hell is about to break loose.’”
Rapper Boosie Badazz tells Lesley Stahl that he was led to believe that if he gave $600,000, he would be issued a pardon.
He was promised that Laura Loomer, Erika Kirk, Mike Johnson and Natalie Harp would advocate for his pardon.
"I just thought this is they way it's done."
Boosie is now suing the pardon broker in an attempt to recover at least half of the money.
Sporting News ranked the 140 greatest #NFL players of all time from No. 140 to No. 1.
And some of these rankings are CRAZY. 👀

Jeff Fisher is the reason I advocate for kids. He is the example of what HS, college, & NFL players need protection from.
What if I told you stuff like this happens all the time in sports. Smh what a disgraceful human being. Mentally ill grown men working with kids. A POS...
