@pizzatiem Fair enough he's been hit or miss for me too. This one is a noir detective novel but it's 1970 and he's a hippie and it is really very funny. My only other suggestion is just read Catch 22 again lol high chance you've read it but I really liked Henry Miller Tropic of Capricorn
