I pray they do time jumps through seven havens, it would add so much to the body of work rather having us follow 9 year olds the whole time #sevenhavens#LOK#ATLA
My Theory for Seven Havens: The destruction Korra caused was due to humans exploiting and taking advantage of spirit energy, however it’s completely apart of the worlds infrastructure. The spirits likely retaliated and the only way Korra could stop it was by doing some large feat, but she doesn’t have the strength alone and needs Vaatus help. She’s over powered and ends up destroying the world. This exhaustion of energy temporarily disrupts/destroy Raavaa and Vaatu and while they reemerged there was no Avatar. Fast forward to Pavi and Niisha, one having Raavaa and the other Vaatu. The struggle is going to be understanding why there’s two of them, why they differ as avatar, how Korra is connected (Raavaa Vaatu Arch), and the grim fate Niisha is destined to have. #sevenhavens #LOK #ATLA
Having the new avatar show be set one gorbillion years in the future so it can be completely removed from its asian cultural influences in favor of some slop anarchistic future aesthetic sucks on principle
It reminds me of Doctor Who when they had the 13th doctor. Yeah she said she was the doctor, she had the Tardis, companions, went on adventures, and held some mannerism, but she never felt like the doctor, and thus it felt like a completely different show. Iykyk #Doctorwho #sevenhavens #ATLA #LOK
I’m down to try the new art style of #sevenhavens but I do want to say, the original art style I think was loved so much because you were transported into another world. It felt so authentic to the bending because it was! Having eastern cultural representation in a show that was marketed in the west took the viewer into an experience they may never get otherwise. Just seeing how beautiful the architecture, character design, backgrounds, and even the musical score were within the show, it created so much nuance that really tied together the world building. I worry with this reset that entire vibe is gone and it will feel so disconnected. #ATLA #LOK

This picture of Korra is so interesting to me because we know she still has the short cut, yet in this imagery her hair is long and akin to the shape of Raavaa and Vaatu. She’s also in the avatar state as well. This is further pushing the narrative that Vaatu’s presence in Korra has some relation to the cataclysm. #sevenhavens #ATLA #LOK
I know they keep the veto to themselves but they need to make an exception for the pressure cooker. The endurance comps are literally the best feeds experience. Why gate keep when we’re going to know the winner anyway. #bb28#bigbrother
This season was such an interesting one, semi lackluster prejury with a bunch of vote flips and paranoia, and a very interesting and dynamic endgame with alliance shifts and blindsides. This is one for the books! #bb28#bigbrother
@ShookDeep I agree. This is one big criticism I had. It’s breaks lore. I get it we’re in a post apocalyptic world, but being that it’s rumored for bending to be rare, you’d think it would take the avatar longer to establish themselves. Idk I don’t like the whole 9 year old concept.
