Anne Mumba, the woman convicted of murdering her husband, Professor Peter Mumba, has died. She was 56.

Mumba died yesterday at a clinic in Lilongwe. Her sister, Beat Kasakatira, said she had asthma. Burial is scheduled for tomorrow at Area 18 Cemetery in the capital city.
