@IanDarke You struggle through games when Santos and Baleba are your best midfield legs. He was always a happy child in the sand at Chelsea because Caicedo was ready to go to the guillotine to spoil opponent moves.
@CFCDaily A win against Liverpool away would mean a lot. We have to keep that Cup presence. For its offering of more games in a season with long days in between games.
@IgboHistoFacts And yet over 40 years later, the truth of his assertion is still intact. A country that was at the peak of corruption in the early 80s, as the storyteller stated, must have doubled down and gained mastery in that regard today.
@SDebarrister@bleedblue_CFC@CFCDaily And I do not think Lacroix is playing any better than him. He said it all. Sometimes the outcomes counter our original intentions, and we have to adapt to be able to move on with life.
@Dezokh@BarcaUniversal I cannot imagine them stifling such a midfield talent in a fixture like this. Rodri can literally influence every aspect of the game from that midfield position. Why tie him down in defense? Put somebody else there. It might not even be a problem if the midfield is up and doing.
@CFCDaily Important names. You just have to adopt a 3-man defense to be able to have enough space for the enormity of Brazilian midfielders that have played in the PL. Willian. That hair. You cannot think about him and not have Hazard walk all over your mind as well.
@UtdDistrict Santos and Baleba who should be the spine of the team are average players. How do you hope to win with a weak spine? Bruno Fernandes was excellent until this setup. The quicker they sack Carrick and bring in top midfielders, the better for the future of the club.
@CFCDaily@CLMerlo Just when I thought we could begin to think about finishing second or going all out to win the league. Misfortune is probably the theme of this era. I have not even gone halfway through my relishing of Caicedo's return. Tell me what is going to happen with Penders in goal.
