Speculation about why there is military gear inside a hospital can go either way. It's not implausible to find weapons because that's normal during war.

The only thing I say is that it's plausible you find weapons in a hospital it doesn't have to be used as an operational base.

Obviously every country has a military and it would be very weird if they don't find anything.
