I realised one thing with social media, which is why I don't post much anymore. Nobody cares about real analysis, or truth. They just want to follow the masses.
@kyledoops Imo...BTC isbecoming the store of value we all "dreamt of". Fort Knox audit, if actually executed, will only be bullish for BTC. No chance they have the exact amount they claim....imo....too much skewered historical data on other fronts that diminishes confidence in 1:1.
@ChillionMillion@cryptomanran@exch Wonder if they will publically address this. I been wallet drained from cold storage, so I understand how this can happen, but the hacker wouldn't have been successful if he tried a test tx on my wallet first..that's all I'm saying.
@Bybit_Official@zachxbt Pleas could you do the crypto community a confidence favour and explain, like we are 5yr olds, the initial hacker "test tx" for 90 usdt 1 minute before the 1.4bil hack.
@cryptomanran Crypto cannot afford to have, let's say, a Crowstrike moment, which undermines the integrity of the technology from on central point of failure
@cryptomanran Wouldn't, but would for one reason only. A realization that 1 chain cannot have dominance on smart contracts and that market diversification into decentrlised L1s is the way forward, if it hasn't been realized already.
@cryptomanran@exch Ok now Im just confused. Perhaps I'm not fully understanding the complexities of this hack, but how does the hacker get the luxury of a signature for a test tx, undetected, then another signature to transfer roughly 85% of Bybit ETH holdings after.
