It is incredible just how behind Europe has fallen behind when it comes to implementation and distillation of AI

Not a single frontier model or leading open source model is based out of Europe today

The VC funding environment is not great, and there is simply no motivation amongst the younger generation to try and build the next big thing

They have come to terms with the fact that their entire technology ecosystem will forever be reliant on America in the west and China in the east
