ESTIMATE of how much you need to move to Canada🇨🇦 via studies from start till you settle for the first 2-3 months (Part 1)
If you know anyone willing to know how much they should budget for Canada🇨🇦 JAPA, RT and Tag them here.
Let's go🔽:
1. Application fee (around 100 CAD):
CAD= Canadian dollars
This can be Diploma, Masters or PhD
Let's say you apply to 2 schools and one gave you Admission.
Total = 200 CAD
Canadian🇨🇦 schools hardly waive App fee, except some colleges that waive for some period of time.
2. Tuition fee in Canada🇨🇦 depends on the program, province and school.
📍Program: Diploma, Masters and Ph.D have different tuition fee.
-Diploma is usually around 6-15k CAD per year.
-Masters and Ph.D are usually in the same range but maybe a little higher.
📍Province: Cheapest Province in Canada 🇨🇦 are in the Atlantic region.
So if you want to cut cost, first Google:
'Atlantic regions in Canada🇨🇦'
Then Google schools in each region.
E.g: Newfoundland and Labrador is one of the regions.
So Google schools in this region.
So, let's assume your tuition fee is 10k CAD per year.
You can choose to do a year or 2 years (diploma), 2 years (Masters) or 4 years (PhD).
2 key Notes:
🩸It is advisable to do a course that is more than a year, preferably 2 years so that you can get a 3-year work permit
I know that will cost you more, but it puts your mind at rest after graduation.
In some Atlantic provinces, they have programs that makes you eligible for PR after a year of study, but very rare.
🩸Make sure ANY program or school you apply to has 2 things:
A. Designated Learning Institute number
B. Post Graduate Work Permit
'A' ensures that they are Govt affiliated.
'B' ensures you can work after graduation.
Alot of people make this mistake and don't check especially because the school is cheap.
Some schools have 'A' and not 'B'.
So double check well using this link:

📍School: Different schools have different fee for different courses.
I know that Management and Accounting courses are generally high in different schools.
So in summary, let's assume your tuition fee for a 2-year program is 20k CAD and you have gotten Admission already.
So, from points 1 and 2 above, your budget is 20,200 CAD.
We will continue in part 2.
First, RT and tell me what this amount is in your local currencies.
In part 2, I will tell you the amount for study visa application and where to find the resources.
Note: Admission and Visa approval in Canada🇨🇦 are two mutually Exclusive events (remember 'probability' in your SS2 mathematics?😂).

RT and see you in part 2.
