Two hundred and fifty years ago, a bold assembly of patriots declared that all men are created equal and endowed by their Creator with unalienable rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. From the blood-soaked fields of Lexington and Concord to the moon's surface and beyond, this greatest nation on Earth has stood as a beacon of freedom, opportunity, and unbreakable spirit. Through every challenge, America has risen stronger—united by the red, white, and blue that waves eternal in our hearts. Here's to 250 years of independence and countless more of American exceptionalism! God bless the United States of America! 🇺🇸
Your comment is both misguided and disrespectful to millions of Cuban Americans like myself. Everything @nickshirleyy presents in this video is the truth. I lived under this communist dictatorship for three decades, and every word he said reflects the reality I experienced. A reality that persists to this day.
This is not propaganda from him. If anything, the propaganda is coming from the other side, your side. This criminal regime has countless victims’ blood on its hands. I encourage you to properly inform yourself about the historical crimes of communism instead of repeating the narrative the dictatorship promotes.

Today I testified before the U.S. Congress to make a few things very clear:
Maduro was not a legitimate president. He is a narco-terrorist who committed crimes against Americans.
He was not “kidnapped”. He was a fugitive who was captured.
His capture was not only justified. It was necessary for the security of the American people.
If you’ve ever wondered why Iranians have been suffering for nearly half a century, it’s not just because of recent events. For 47 years, the Iranian people have been trapped under a corrupt regime. It’s not only about the brutal crackdowns you see on the news today, where over 50,000 people have been slaughtered in the streets, but about a decades-long system of oppression. For nearly five decades, the economy has collapsed, the currency has lost its value, and ordinary people can barely survive. For those of us who grew up there, like me, being a teenager meant living in fear, arrested simply for attending a birthday party and constantly harassed by the morality police. The truth is, the people of Iran can’t even enjoy simple moments, music, dancing, relationships, without fear. Every day, they live without safety, without basic dignity, under a government that crushes every dream.
Oh, spare us the virtue-signaling, Congressman. For over 60 years, Cubans haven't had a single real vote on their future, not because of the U.S. embargo, but because of the brutal communist dictatorship that seized power in 1959 and crushed all dissent. Elections? What elections? It's a one-party sham where opposition is jailed, tortured, or worse. Remember when Obama "opened relations" in 2014? Billions flowed in from U.S. tourism and deals, yet the Cuban people stayed mired in misery, hunger, and censorship. The regime pocketed the cash, beefed up repression, and nothing changed for the average Cuban, except maybe more spies watching them. Lifting the embargo now would just reward the hardliners you claim to oppose, funneling more money to a regime that starves its people while exporting doctors as slave labor. If you really want Cubans to "decide their own future," start by demanding free elections, free speech, free and fair elections, and the release of political prisoners, not handing tyrants a lifeline. The failed policy isn't the embargo; it's appeasing dictators. Time to stand with the Cuban people, not their oppressors. #FreeCuba #RegimeChange
NEWS: today I introduced a bill to repeal the U.S. embargo against Cuba.
For over six decades, the U.S. has embraced failed, obsolete, Cold-War thinking towards Cuba. Our 60+ year embargo has been ineffective and counterproductive—it hurts the Cuban people, it strengthens hardliners, it gives rise to more refugees, and it undercuts our standing in the world.
We have tried the same thing for over 60 years—and it has failed for over 60 years.
Let's try something different—let's open things up!
Let’s lift the embargo, giving US businesses, entrepreneurs, tourists, and universities more access.
Let’s push for freedom and democracy through diplomacy and engagement.
Let’s let Cubans who live on the island decide their own future—not Marco Rubio or Donald Trump.

🚨Cuba can once again be the crown jewel of the Caribbean — not the third-world, communist hellscape it has become after 67 years of the longest, most brutal dictatorship in the history of our hemisphere.
I was born in #Cuba & want to see it freed!
@MikeBenzCyber He was not the duly elected president of Venezuela Mike. He clung to power by force after losing the elections more than a year ago, like the criminal that he is.
Hey @netflix, any chance for Rebel Moon Part 3? The first two were incredible—especially the director’s cuts. Zack Snyder is one of the greatest directors ever, and these are some of the best sci-fi films I’ve seen in years. Please greenlight it! 🔥 #RebelMoon”
