@dumoulin_nick Definition
Cross-checking is the action of using the shaft of the stick between the two hands to forcefully check an opponent.
@NHLPlayerSafety
So J.T. Miller breaks Thomas Chabot's forearm with an unpenalized crosscheck, an injury which requires surgery and could have a very significant effect on the Ottawa Senators playoff hopes, and we're all just OK with that? Carry on, then...
@nhl_review How is it legal? Puck has left (interference), leaves the ice (charging), massively late and blind side (intent to injure)… the hit has nothing to do with actually playing hockey. @NHLPlayerSafety
@topshelfhkyvids@NHLPlayerSafety@NHL I turned games off this week because then officiating is so bad and shit like this gets nothing. Hopefully more people are turning this crap off. That will be the only driver of change @NHLPlayerSafety
@zynister6@JeffVeillette@NHLPlayerSafety is a Joke. Crosby out (I know not NHL… but it was Gudas), now Matthews, maybe they’ll do something after McDavid gets injured… will it be Gudas, Cousins, Tkachuk, Wilson, or Trouba… there’s only a few that consistently injure other players or try to.
@miket136@Arturmaks This is all getting far too weird. Nothing (other than performance) is stopping those men than pretend to be women from competing in sports. They just have to do it in the men’s divisions. Why is this even an issue… unless you have something against actual women.
@miket136@AndieWinnipeg Lies abound… No, there have not been any official Skate Canada events—such as national championships, Skate Canada International, sectionals, or other sanctioned competitions organized by Skate Canada—at the Ice Palace in West Edmonton Mall. Andie makes stuff up.
@SpokedZ How can @NHL officials be so objectively bad, all the time? That’s a slash (WTF), stick lifts are hooks, blind side heads hits aren’t penalties 1/2 the time, the other 1/2 theyre suspensions, skating into a hit can be a penalty (see Dunn last week). Refs just awful. Every game.
