Jesus was our sin-bearer and thus was made sin, meaning that we were literally on that Cross when Jesus was crucified. He wasn’t only our representative, He wasour substitute; our sins were laid on His spirit. He took our nature and took our place.
Satan, or darkness, has no control or jurisdiction over you; you’re not under their influence. You’re in Christ, inHis glorious Kingdom, and in Him there’s no darkness at all (1 John 1:5).

In January, I studied 6 books of the Bible.
This is a summary of what they talked about.
Job: trials, perseverance, the emptiness of all without God
James: Faith, actions, fairness, endurance, and humility.
Genesis: Beginning, God's plans, faith, blessings, and the promise.

The resurrection of Jesus Christ by which you were recreated with a new life of righteousness qualified you to live the presence of God without guilt or condemnation; you’re free from all accusations, being justified by His grace. This is the Gospel!
The old testament texts are collections of religious materials christians need to read with caution. It is full of histories, antiquities, symbolisms, markers, religious mixtures, prophecies and revelations. If you don't take painstaking measures while you read them, you may dash off into a wild vacuum of religious obscurity thinking you are doing Christianity.
As a christian, the bible must be first seen as a christocentric text before a thorough assimilation of the finished works of Christ can be grasped from it. The old testament is christ concealed, this means that you need the endpoint of the new testament to fully note the grey areas of the old testament. You should know where the text pointed to Jesus and where the account pointed to the law. This means you must study in context and not with undue generalisation eg the Israel of the old testament is a symbol; it is the church of Jesus in the new testament. In the new testament the only chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a peculiar people, a holy nation called by God is the church (1 Peter 2:9).
The church was not revealed in the old testament because the sacrifice has not been made. It was revealed in the new testament following the death, the burial and the resurrection of Jesus, his body and the first begotten from the dead (Revelation 1:5). Several practices of the old testament were allowed by God for a while; immediately the price was paid, God shifted the paradigm to his body, the church. If you don't clearly distinguish these things you could be practising Judaism thinking you are doing christianity. This is the case with many christian groups today. They claim they are the church of Jesus but they have similar practices with Judaism.
The Christian life is a life of unending grace; there is more than enough grace for you every day. No need to be overwhelmed or exasperated by the burdens of life. No need for the struggle. Act on the Word. Hebrews 4:16 says, “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of...
Why is that so important? In those times, they were mostly farmers, and their prosperity often depended on what came out of the land. The Bible says, “Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven. Yea, the LORD shall give that which is...
Our God is the God of peace. Therefore, peace in the nations is His will. The Lord Jesus said in John 14:27, “Peace leave with you, my peace l give unto you....” How the world needs this today—the peace that only Jesus gives. We’re the ones to help others and the nations...
