fable 5 is the first model i have come across that can poke serious holes in chatgpt pro + gpt 5.5's work, which would have previously gone undiscovered pre-fable 5. together gpt 5.5 and fable push each other well. i am very not looking fwd to 22 July. well done anthropic!

chatgpt pro- best brains, best in STEM queries, slower, not as agentic, unlimited queries
claude code - best communicator and project manager, good at writing, best in aesthetics

every major project i work on with AI agents, i have 2 agents onboard - its any 2 of either 1) codex 2) chatgpt pro or 3) claude code. and 1) codex is almost always involved. reason? 2 agents help vet each other's work, push each other, keep each other honest
