The things that we are most afraid of and that scare us the most, to an unreasonable extent, are the things we have no concrete idea about.
F.E.A.R. is just that; False Expectations Appearing Real
The next time you overthink about something, go to the worst case scenario.
Don’t stop there. Start thinking of a solution to the situation you put yourself in.
Whatever happens in reality won’t be that bad and you’ll already know how to deal with it.
Mountains are moved one stone at a time as the saying goes.
Accept what you can do and know that so long as you push yourself forward, even if you fail and you fall, you’re falling in the right direction.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Thomas Aquinas once said “Beware the man of a single book”
Now it’s not the man of one book we have to look out for, its people with fixed ideological views.
Everyone has a potential which they can at least edge closer towards
If the goal is to reach something that is always shifting in definition, we won’t hit it
Reverse engineer that; Understand the process is always happening, that’s what we need to focus on finding fulfilment in
We shouldn’t be so quick to judge ourselves. We don’t know ourselves well enough to deny ourselves the chance at a new experience.
We need to start trying the things that we once told ourselves we couldn’t do!
We need to start respecting ourselves.
We can do this by sticking to the promises we make with ourselves and carrying through on the things we tell ourselves that we will.
Internalise your self worth, don’t outsource it.
We have the energy within us for action. We all know that we’re not where we could be.
We can almost immediately list things about ourselves that we know we could improve and should improve.
We have the ability to take action and to master ourselves.
In any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing, the next best thing is the wrong thing, and the worst thing you can do is nothing.
Do you ever look at people you either envy or want to be and think how amazing their lives must be? A lot of the time we forget that they’re human too...
They have the problems we do! In our relationships, jobs and day to day life. The Grass isn’t greener, appreciate your own!
If you don’t know what you’re best suited for, try something. Anything.
You’ll know if it’s right or wrong. You’ll feel it, not often certain as to why or how but you’ll know.
If you’re not suited to it, adjust your aim and shoot again. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You have one life. That fact doesn’t change. There’s always a point in the future where you die and you either have or haven’t done something with your life.
The person you are now chooses how the other lives.
