Country singer Riley Green made his debut as a coach on "The Voice" on Monday, September 21st. He didn't waste any time building up his team!

One of the artists who found her home on Team Riley was 25-year-old Caroline Alexis. Although she auditioned for "The Voice," Caroline shared that she isn't a full-time singer. She just graduated from law school and is currently studying for the bar exam.

Riley and the other "Voice" coaches learned about Caroline's backstory after hearing her sing a #1 hit from Rascal Flatts, titled "Take Me There." Her performance had the coaches poised to press their buttons, but ultimately, only Riley turned his chair.

He was relieved, because he didn't want to fight any of the other coaches to claim Caroline for his team. His excitement was multiplied when he learned that Caroline is an Alabama native, like him.

In a behind-the-scenes interview after Caroline sang, Riley made it clear that he "needed" to have her on his team...and now she is!
