If you persevere, if you address the things that got you thereā¦
The story finishes with you winning in the end.
The great thing about rock bottom is⦠The Only Way Is UP.
vibecoder asks claude code to build a chat app, gets a working prototype in 20 minutes, immediately tweets "just killed slack and discord"ā¦
brother you don't even know what a distributed system is. you don't know what database replication means. you have no idea how websocket connections behave at scale or what happens when 50k people are online at once and someone's message needs to show up in 200ms across 3 continents
slack has engineers making $300k+ who have spent a decade solving problems you don't even know exist yet. race conditions, eventual consistency, message ordering, presence systems, file storage at scale, search indexing across billions of messages
your app works on localhost with 2 connections. that's not the same thing as "killing slack" that's a college homework assignment
the prototype is maybe 0.5% of what makes these products actually work in production. the remaining 99.5% is infrastructure, reliability, edge cases, and years of iteration on problems that only surface when real humans use your thing at scale
and the worst part is the confidence. "yeah its not perfect but ai one-shotted it, just need to adjust a few things and deploy" - the few things you need to adjust IS the entire product. thats like pouring a foundation and saying you basically built a skyscraper, just need to adjust a few things
ai is genuinely incredible for building tools and prototypes. i use it every day. but there's this weird thing happening where people who have never shipped anything to real users at scale now think the hard part of software is writing the first 200 lines of code
it never was bro
If I could send one message to the my childhood self, it would be this:
āThe story ends with you winningā.
The life that Iāve built for myself made the child in me WHOLE.
I pray that happens for everyone reading this.
I remember when I āmade itā with trading
I was making good money and was living in a nice apartment with my wife
We went on holiday to Malaysia and went to a big food market that was famous over there
Everyone around me was having fun, yet I felt nothing
I thought that my life would be great after succeeding at trading - yet I had no emotions, it was almost like I was depressed
All of those hours I had put in to learning trading, and when I had finally done it, it didnāt make me happy at all
I realised that trading is a great vehicle to make money, but at the end of the day:
ā¢Youāre not working / collaborating with other people
ā¢Youāre not having a positive impact on other peopleās lives
ā¢Itās the same boring process every single day
Figuring out the markets was the fun part, but now that I had done that I became extremely bored in life and didnāt know what to do
So I started doing other things on the side - teaching trading, building softwares businesses, investing in other businesses
This is when I got my passion back for life
I realised that I didnāt enjoy trading - I enjoyed CREATING
But I was lucky enough that trading providing both money and time, which allowed me to pursue what I was actually passionate about
Just be warned - becoming a profitable trader isnāt going to make your life much better
In fact, if trading is all that you have, itās easy to become bored and depressed
Use trading as a vehicle to pursue hard / creative things that youāre passionate about
THIS is how trading should be done, not just used as something where you work for 1-3 hours a day and spend the rest of it gaming, watching netflix and scrolling on your phone
āDude I have 10 agents running while I sleep. No one is prepared for AGI in 2 years man.ā
āSo what are you building?ā
āBro all my smartest friends are vibe coding until 3am every night. Itās all about agency. Intelligence is a commodity man.ā
āSo what are you building?ā
āDo you even study exponentials? Have you seen the latest METR chart? Youāre going to be stuck in the permanent underclass bro.ā
āSo what are you building?ā
āDid you even setup OpenClaw? Iām maxing out my token budget everyday man.ā
āSo what are you building?ā
āI promise you Iām 10x more productive bro! You just donāt understand! Please bro justā¦. I know you use this stuff everyday too, but you must not be prompting it right! Please brooā¦ā
Just look at those trades broā¦
Thereās no other system like this
That offers 300+ good trade opportunities per week for you to capitalise on
People are becoming consistently profitable from this after just 1-4 months
Iāve never seen any other trading mentor with results like this in my life
All āmale depressionā can be solved by providing and protecting a woman that is worth doing it for
The reason most guys are so depressed is because theyāre not doing the thing that theyāve been biologically hard-wired to do
Just because you CAN trade full-time doesnāt mean you should
Iāve seen a lot of people get into trading full-time
The trade in the morning, journal their trades, do some backtesting
And then they still have 8-12 hours of free time before itās time to go to sleep
If youāre not careful and donāt have a true purpose, you can end up going down a really dark path here
You might be making $30-50k/month in trading - but youāre lonely, spend all day at home by yourself playing video games, donāt talk to many people
You need to find things that give your purpose or things you enjoy or else trading full-time will be depressing (no matter how much money youāre making)
This could be building another business, getting into great shape, even things like playing golf all day
But you NEED things that will occupy the rest of your day that arenāt just watching tv, scrolling tiktok and all that other BS - those things will slowly ruin you
@ajisc0@j_intradaytrade Yeah it's legit. Just like Dex said, you have to put in the work. The best thing about the system is that you're not really limited to the number of trades. They're really are close to an infinite number of trades you could take. So it's just a matter of mastering yourself.
@michaeldelanuez@j_intradaytrade Just an empty cup and willingness to learn + work hard.
We mainly focus on NQ futures in the course, but it applies to everything...I trade it on Gold, Silver, and Crypto.
Futures during the week, crypto during the weekends for me.
I had a student who joined the 6 week programme
3 months later he messaged me:
āI thought you were BS when I first joined. I saw you posting about a 34R week and thought those numbers were impossible. I only joined because the programme was $200 so I thought the worst that can happen is I lose that $200, but the best that can happen is I start getting 20-30R a week from the markets.ā
That same day he put a message in the Discord about how he had a 28R week
Thatās what made me realise - the risk-to-reward of the 6 week programme is insane
If the model doesnāt resonate with you, youāre out $200 but youāve learned something
If it does resonate with you, youāll be eating off trading for life
I had never thought of it in those terms, but itās very true
I thank God for the gift of trading.
I was about to be homeless with my children and we were running out of food when I stumbled on the markets.
No one taught me how to do this.
I knew that my discipline needed to match my desperation in order to make it.
I honored my plan because I saw it as honoring my family even on the days that it felt hard to do so.
I will never discourage people who have no money or a small amount of money from trading.
Everything you need is on YouTube FOR FREE and it's up to YOU how far you go and the amount of time you take to get there.
None of you knew me when I became profitable and there's no record of me learning this online.
If you are in a dark or lonely place and your back is against the wall with finances, GET OFF THE INTERNET and double down on screen time + proper education... which can be found for free on YouTube.
I believe everyone has a chance at making it but you have to do what others are not willing to.
Show up EVERYDAY and focus on being better than yesterday in both execution and knowledge.
Backtest what you've learned but also Backtest YOURSELF.
You have to get to the bottom of your struggles in both trading and life.
If nothing changes, NOTHING CHANGES.
Whatever habits you don't kill on the way up will kill you on the way down.
Your journey to profitability is not on X, IG or any other platform.
It's in the hours of isolation that feel lonely, difficult to navigate and found AFTER the pruning process.
Do what you have to do now so you can do what you want to do later.

I left the Church when I was 15
Those next few years I started drinking, partying all the time, doing things I shouldnāt have been doing
When I was 19 I was working in a club
I was pretty much an alcoholic at this stage - drinking multiple days a week
I had achieved some pretty cool things, but I still wasnāt happy
One night before I went to the club, I broke down and prayed to God - I felt something in me that I had never felt before
Got to my friends house before the party and there was drugs and alcohol all around, I didnāt touch any of it
Left the club early that night, got up in the morning and prayed to God again
I found Jesus at one of my lowest points and I can truly say that he changed my life for the better
Now Iām 25, married to the woman of my dreams and Iām living my dream life
I get that some of you may not believe in God
But keep an open heart to faith - it can truly change everything for you, but only if you let it
