On the surface, it sounds like Boomers hate you. Or like they have the attention span and logical thinking skills of a goldfish.

Neither one of these is true.

Their complete dismissal of any of your concerns, and their total refusal to understand your situation or worldview, is actually quite sensible in light of one key fact about them.

They're not hateful. They're not dumb. They just have an incredibly low emotional pain threshold.

They cannot stand to feel bad about themselves for any reason, even for a moment.

When you create a meme like this, or you tell the story of how you are forty years old and can't afford a house because you trained for three different careers and got rugpulled by work visas and offshoring every time...

... then they don't even think about it as a worldview or a perspective or an experience that you have. They don't think about you at all.

They think only about the effect on their own self-esteem, which must be parried.

You have, you see, told a tale of playing life on hard mode, which implies that they were playing life on easy mode, which implies that they are not wizards of insight and paragons of virtue.

That's why they will immediately respond with these incoherent lines about whining and bootstraps and firm handshakes and avocado toast. Of course they don't make sense. They don't have to make sense. The goal isn't to persuade you of anything or engage with you at all.

The goal is simply to have an excuse to avoid thinking about something which might make them feel bad.

These Boomerisms are magic talismans used to ward off emotional discomfort, in much the same fashion as all the species of plants they smoked their way through when they were your age.

I don't see a solution to this.

I don't know any way to tell Boomers that Hart-Cellar, CRA1964, DEI, open borders, social welfare programs, anti-racism, gay marriage, gun control, the sexual revolution, etc, were massive mistakes and need to be stopped, while hiding the obvious implication they were the ones who made those mistakes.

If we wish to save Western civilization, to make things good enough again that actual Americans can manage to have homes and marriages and children, then we're going to have to find a way to work around the Boomers, because they're never going to get on board.

@matthewlohmeier Babczak checked his system yesterday when he out-processed the ANG over the flu shot. He saw the same temporary admin exemption for the flu shot as everyone else who refused this year on his medical record. They discharged him for that same rqmt for which he has an exemption!

We are playing the long game, building, and learning to operate in the shadows.

We are focused on raising and influencing the next generation of youthful warriors while building the organizations, wealth, and infrastructure that will assist their rise.

Unlike previous generations we have no desire to pull the ladder up behind us, on the contrary we are reaching down into the pit to pull the young out to help us fight.

The best use of our time right now is to build, influence, and indoctrinate (in a good way) the youth. This is something we can control. This is something that will have a real, meaningful impact long term.

Everything else is a distraction until elders who are hoarding the wealth and power are out of the picture and can no longer block us by any means necessary from ascending.

Reinstatement is stalled because the @DeptofWar has taught the officers who must facilitate it that they must only wait out the current administration because this administration will not hold them accountable for their crimes under the last administration.

Those reinstating now will do so under service obligations well into the next administration.

The SAVE America Act has not been passed. It is most likely the next administration will not be friendly to anyone who reinstated under this administration, and the officers maliciously complying with the reinstatement order will once again find themselves with political top-cover... and they will be 10x worse than they were during COVID.

Accountability MUST precede reinstatement or this is just so many lambs to the slaughter.

KC-10 folks have a history of making media. “Hot cause I’m deployed” came out 18 years ago. You don't necessarily go to an expensive gym for the amenities and equipment. You go because it's expensive enough where it's prohibitive. It's too expensive for most idiots. You get to escape the nightmare world and just be surrounded by mostly normal and civil humans.

If you filled a gym with the best equipment in the world and priced it like Planet Fitness, it would be a nightmare. It would be unusable.

It's part of the reason people shop at Erewhon. Their food isn't AMAZING, definitely not for how it's priced, but you're paying for what you're not getting. You're not getting gigantic women shopping in their pajamas. You're not getting people stealing or fighting with the staff. It's your little vacation from the chaos outside. Your little expensive utopia.

It's awful that society is such a mess that you have to pay more to live in civility, if only for a moment. Your own personal little escape.

Flew with a FO who use to be a U2 pilot. He was horrible and I had to take over the controls while he floated and was about to scrape the engine with his ridiculous bank angle going down the runway (34L) at NRT.

Something I learned early in my career that just because the pilot was ex military doesn’t mean they are good. It didn’t matter if they flew fighters, transport or tankers

I've been pretty popular on X for about three years now.

In that time I have tackled some of the toughest subjects of our day. DEI. Jihad. War. Epstein. Israel. Tucker, Candace, MartyrMade and Fuentes.

You name it, I've probably had an opinion on it, and often an unpopular opinion.

But it was not until I went after the status quo in America's military education system that I got doxxed and got a death threat.

I'm not sure there is a stronger signal as to the rot that has infested certain corners of our military.

The economy is fake and a boomer fever dream. White boomers opened the borders to import foreign workers and outsourced jobs overseas. Boomers allowed corporations and foreign investors to buy large amounts of real estate. 10s millions of illegal and legal immigrants compete with Gen Z for housing. Boomers specifically inflated the housing market into a bubble in order to reap as many benefits in their old age and retirement. Their grandchildren can’t get jobs because illegal latinos have taken blue collar work and legal indians have taken the white collar work. Boomers have created a fake economy they are hoping will crash after they are dead leaving the young to pick up the pieces. They surround their grandchildren with non-Whites who hate them and then shame young Whites for not being liberal and color blind. Young White men have zero reason to respect the elderly or support this system of things. Bringing it down is becoming the only option.

One thing you notice when you read pretty much anything written more than 100 years ago is just how impoverished and bland and limited our language has become. People spoke and wrote in a kind of effortlessly rich and descriptive way that almost no one does today. On this site a lot of people write almost exclusively in cliches and internet lingo. A lot of people speak like that too. The language contracts, our conversational vocabulary shrinks more and more over time. And the more limited we become in our language, the more limited we are in our thinking.
