Dallas College Richland Campus needs to terminate Dr. Andrew Evangelista. He dumped alums out of the choir and continues to fill his own classes and lessons chairs with students that he is putting into excess credit hours. Excess credit hours = being charged out of state tuition (which financial aid does not cover) at 4 year colleges and possibly exhausting financial aid. This predatory professor needs to be gone! The proud alums want a choir that welcomes all and that keeps students on their degree plans! https://t.co/G5gTyXx08p
I have no problem with Islam. I’m just against beheading, stoning, marrying little girls, sexual slavery, taqiyya, slave trading, rape, forced conversions, jihad, burqa, attacking other religions, child abuse, women abuse, animal abuse, multiple wives, murder, Sharia, terrorism, brainwashing, intolerance, greed, anti-science, torture, illiteracy, gluttony, genital mutilation, inbreeding. Does that make me Islamophobic?
- @realMaalouf
I dislike and mistrust all closed systems of thought
I particularly dislike Islam because it demands child marriage, female genital mutilation, the beating of
wives, the killing of infidels, the unending promotion of the worst aspects of the male ego, and a complete refusal to contemplate multiculturism
All of which are contrary to the values I hold
Are you telling me, Maliq, that this all is caused by a fear of the truth ?
I$lam is a cancer that will destroy western civilization. We must stand together and fight for our safety and way of life.

The collapse of the Dallas College Music Program is clearly shown in the abysmal enrollment numbers in Music Theory at Dallas College's 7 main campuses. The number of students would not even support a music program on 1 campus, much less 6 (Cedar Valley is audio tech and music other than traditional music program offerings.) Please note Music Theory I and III are only offered in fall at the other music programs across the state. These numbers will not support 40 music ensembles, many of which are large ensembles that would normally have 30-50 members.
Level of Music Theory / Number of Students Enrolled
I:
Brookhaven / 4
Eastfield / 10
I, II, III, IV offered in the same room at the same time with the same instructor (which should not be permitted as the college could lose its accreditation as no other classes are offered that way. Would developmental math, Algebra, Differential Equations and Statistics, for example, be taught in the same room at the same time with the same instructor?)
North Lake / 9
II:
Brookhaven / 4
Eastfield / 4
Richland / 6
Mountain View / 4
III:
Brookhaven / 5
IV:
Brookhaven / 4
Eastfield / 2
Richland / 3
The music program must be consolidated to 2 or 3 campuses. Predatory Music professors such as Dr. Andrew Evangelista who put students into excess hours not on any degree plan to fill their own chairs must be terminated so that the program can be rebuilt and grown. This degree needs to be reinstated by the State of Texas. An Advisor / Success Coach that understands how Music Degrees are structured needs to be advising students planning to major in music so that they will follow the degree plans of the 4 year universities to the letter and not end up exhausting their financial aid or having to pay out of state tuition (which financial aid does not cover.)

Dallas College is in serious crisis. Dallas College Richland Campus has a choir director / former Music Department Head, Dr. Andrew Evangelista, that is a huge detriment to the program and its students. He expanded the program into complete collapse. He added ensembles and hired more professors for classes that will not make and had no chance of making with the low enrollment that has plagued the program for years. All four levels of Music Theory and Ear Training are being offered at the same time in the same room with the same professor on one campus due to low enrollment. How is the college still accredited? Dr. Evangelista pushed out fantastic faculty and created a toxic atmosphere in the music department.
He has added junior level conducting classes that can never transfer. He pushes his students into jazz singers, jazz singing lessons, conducting and composition that will never transfer as they are not on degree plans for most students. His students are kept trapped in his program for 3-8 years as they can't successfully audition to transfer.
Dr. Evangelista is putting students into dozens of excess credit hours of music that will not transfer. Music students at Richland typically end up with 100 - 161 hours of mostly music nonsense. Those excessive hours lead to students being charged out of state tuition at 4 year colleges and universities in Texas. Financial aid does not cover those thousands of dollars in increased tuition. Excessive hours can exhaust students' financial aid leaving them to pay for their college out of pocket.
Dr. Evangelista dumped all of the Richland Choir alumnae that came back to sing. The schedule for fall 2024 was published in February and I registered by April only to be dumped out of both choirs 5 days before registration ended in August. I had conflicting classes and could not sing in the choir due to this total chaos. The schedule cannot be trusted and Dr. Evangelista has gone totally rogue.
What was once the most successful two year college choir in Texas that toured nationally now after 4 years under Evangelista has only 9 singers. He has totally destroyed this once well respected program. Older students are not welcome and college age students are sure to be advised into disaster.

Dr. Andrew Evangelista arranged the "heroin song" ( Steely Dan's Time Out of Mind) for his Jazz Singers at Dallas College Richland Campus. How will the Dr. Jerry Wallace scholarship donors and the college's administration feel about this new twist in the music department? https://t.co/y34HjfOCq9

The Vice Chancellor over the School of Creative Arts, Entertainment and Design has been informed that Dr. Andrew Evangelista is running the program dirty and putting students excess hours to fill his own class chairs. I expect that he will be terminated for harming these vulnerable and trusting students.
Dallas College Music is still putting students into excess hours that exhaust financial aid and that land students in out of state tuition. Dr. Andrew Evangelista was the Music Department Head that exploded the program into complete collapse. Conducting is a junior level class and will never transfer. Why are students being told that they need to take it?
Jazz Singers and Jazz voice will not transfer either as performance and education majors are required to take a large ensemble such as the traditional choir and traditional voice each semester in their freshman and Sophomore years and that is all that will transfer.
Dr. Evangelista hired professors that will be placed in classes that never had any chance of making. There are numerous jazz ensembles at all 7 campuses. Check out the enrollment at Eastfield and North Lake. These classes need at least 5 to make and should have around 20 players to perform as big band ensembles. Enrollment for the regular semester ends on January 15th.
The Richland Choirs before he came had over 100 singers in 5 different groups. As of today the large choir has 4 enrolled and the Jazz Singers sits at 3. That will not more than double at best at this late stage. Dr. Evangelista has destroyed that choral program and run off all of the alums.
When is Dallas College going to start following real music degree plans? When is this predatory professor, Dr. Evangelista, that is putting students into numerous excess hours going to be shown the door?

Garland, TX kicked these scammers to the curb! Enrollment into healthcare without consent is never allowed by hearlthcaredot gov and is prosecuted by the FTC. Payments hidden on water bills is not proper either. Are the scammers still laughing after being booted from Garland???
The service is dangerous to use and our own local Garland doctors advised us not to use it. They cannot check your temperature, blood pressure, blood oxygenation, pulse, breathing, weight or anything else. At least 97% of the interactions are via text and most with a Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant. They can do no testing or procedures, so they are guessing. Prescribing antibiotics without seeing the patient and culturing to be sure they are needed is why we have overuse and antibiotic resistant strains.

Did Attorney General Ken Paxton actually endorse MD Health Pathways as Brian Davis claims or is MD Health Pathways (CEO Dr. Dirk Perritt) a scam using Paxton to promote their for profit business? The Attorney General does not and cannot legally endorse businesses.
The City of Garland needs to terminate their relationship with MD Health Pathways!
