Australian spending is slowing, but inflation remains too high for easy rate cuts.
That is the difficult combination: weak customers and expensive debt.

In 2007 I was paying $1.759 for 98 octane unleaded petrol.
So according to the #RBA inflation calculator, that same litre of fuel should now cost, $2.85.
That is what I am currently paying for PULP 98.
So is our #fuel overpriced or perhaps just reset to where it “should” be?
