#OMI. Pepas West at 100m strike proves that the area is bigger than MRE suggests. Expect more step out once the rig has returned from the South . Could it be Pepas wasn't pushed up but a continued part of a much larger system all from surface.

A deep hole, about 600m, to test the third dimension. Understanding how these structures vary vertically is as much or more important than lateral variation when trying to develop an understanding of the lithostructural architecture of this system.

Newmonts Cerro Negro was identified exactly the same way, they are assisting. Looks like they have drilled 4000m 20holes 200m depth. FYI Cerro was after initial drilling drilled to 400m where the deposit was revealed. This is what omi look to be doing now .

All looking very interesting at El Pantano - the lads like what they see, but then geologists always do.
Original 3000m program now up to about 5000m. Have managed to twist the drillers arm to stay for one more deep hole as there are some geological questions we want answered down there. That should take another 10 days or so, then we can let them go to their next client, and we can pull it all together.

@baroninvestment Something a foot could be big , we already know lots of interest in what they have so far , can only be newmont they are assisting on the drill program, nobody else is aware of what is happening. If so this goes up sharply.

And so PDAC ends, just as the weather and jet lag is starting to improve. Sore feet, sore back and sore head from pounding the corridors, but productive.

Unsurprisingly a lot of interest from various parties waving cheque books wanting to fund Pepas, for reasons already discussed - it's real, it's near term, it's low cost, it's high grade, it's reasonably simple, it's low risk, and it can produce a product that off takers want.

It has been an educational few days in the art of mineral economics - if you can't fund it, you can't build it.
