As the video shows, the bicyclist altered his body position to drive the shoulder through his opponent's head on a play where such contact was avoidable.
As a result of the hit, Boston Bruins forward Brad Marchand has been fined $5,000.
@SoVeryBritish Is that a British expression? I've only heard it as a Canadian, so just assumed. Not that Canadian culture is that far removed from British culture in the grand scheme of things.
@Purcellitis@sdpnsports@SIASport They mentioned this at the end of the podcast, specifically to mention that the heat of the debate is normal for them. The friendship remains unabated.
@KandC_2@sdpnsports I mean, you are not wrong. OTOH the last ep was a bunch of short videos combined into one "show" so it is a unique situation. Today's ep has almost no branding that I can recall.
@scalzi Another downside to this strategy is that the model is being trained on stories that are, by definition, non-canon, which is basically in-universe lies (or at least wishful thinking), so accuracy of results is going to be even less than normal.
@Canes As a lifelong Hurricanes fan, I am DONE with this franchise. For too many years this team has but me through emotional duress. I am taking my time and money to the Florida Panthers, where they actually win hockey games.
Oh, I hope not. They need someone in the core with some grit and determination to win. They are not going to get that with the current 4.
I'd start with Matthews... worth a lot in trades, and sends a clear message: no one is safe, so you better start fighting for your spot.
