More than 24 hours later, Manipur Youth Congress workers still remain under arrest for demanding the release of abducted residents and restoration of peace in the state.

Led by MPYC President W. Anand Singh, our workers stormed the BJP CM’s residence because the people of Manipur are tired of violence, fear and government failure.

Instead of restoring peace and rebuilding trust in Manipur, the BJP government and the compromised PM who still hasn’t properly stood with the people of the state, are busy silencing democratic voices.
