₹19 lakh sanctioned for a ground in Ropar. The result? A shed, while the ground remains in shambles.

So where did the ₹19 lakh go? What work was sanctioned, completed and paid for? Where are the bills, measurements and utilisation details?

The questions will be asked, even if the answers are nowhere to be found. Every rupee of public money, paid through taxpayers’ hard-earned money, must be accounted for.

This is “khokhli development”: advertisement on camera, nothing on the ground, corruption manifold.

• Widely accused as an illegal mining kingpin
• Son-in-law under the NGT scanner for illegal mining & hotel violations

A siropa is not a political endorsement, it’s a Sikh tradition of respect. Punishing a Granthi for offering it dilutes Gurmat values.
The question is not whether Rahul Gandhi deserved a siropa, but whether as Sikhs we can deny sarbat da bhala (welfare of all) to anyone — especially someone who has consistently stood against fascism and violence.

Are we upholding Guru Nanak’s universality — or bending Sikhi to please political bosses?

My question in the Lok Sabha on non conduct of @OfficialPU Senate elections below 👇🏾

@EduMinOfIndia has essentially washed its hands off the whole affair and lobbed the ball squarely into the Court of the Vice Chancellor of @OfficialPU and @VPIndia who is the Chancellor of the University.

What @EduMinOfIndia is saying without saying it is if Senate Elections are not being held it is not their responsibility. Period .

We have nothing to do with it. They effectively have put the onus on the administration of @OfficialPU and Hon’ble @VPIndia

What is however intriguing is the answer to the question that whether the Government has any plans of converting @OfficialPU into a Central University.

Government says - NOT AT PRESENT. This is a forked tongued answer . Leaving the door ajar for the future.

This has serious implications for the polity of Punjab and the future of @OfficialPU
