The Braves are extremely lucky to have a player like Austin Riley on their team. The fact that he can even be compared to a legend like Chipper Jones performance wise is wild to me. Their first five seasons are so similar and is encouraging for Riley’s future.

I think the craziest part about Matt Olson playing right field tonight is not just that it's his first time playing right since 2017...

It's his first time appearing in a game as anything other than a first baseman since 2021.

No pinch-hitting, no DH starts. He had only been a first baseman in 720 consecutive games since he first appeared in a Braves uniform prior to tonight
