@drjmetz I’m talking microbudget where crews are lucky to make minimum wage (if that, dont tell the DOL) and are doing it for the love ormore experience
Even 1% split among 20 crew can be a nice bonus if a film takes off
I guess some people do partially deferred rates which is ok too
@gamgeetv@Neoncaffeine@bronk It would be wrong to belittle someone for using it, but there nothing wrong with disliking it
It's whimsy they got from the internet. Secondhand whimsy. It's like telling jokes from a joke book idk, make up your own whimsical phrase that would be less irritating
@DrFunmiwilliams@falling_ideas noooo Dr. please you've worked so hard you don't have to stoop to the "reply to every comment in a snarky way to boost engagement" thing I promise you
Just be a great doctor and leave the engagement slop to the non-professionals 😭
@wrotator Idk about this situation but I am, as a man, consistently shocked by the amount of men and women on planes who can't figure out how to sit so their arms/knees don't touch the person next to them. Tuck them shits in bro why are you ok with touching another person4 hours straight?
@kyonline22@CrispyCarlton People act like their favorite comedians can't have an uneven set lol. Shane is the funniest comic in the world right now imo, but yeah this delivery was kind of clunky and didn't make me laugh 🤷♂️
@anyotherleader1@USL_Pony The proper name, and what people generally call it here, is hamburger bun, because it's named after the filling, not the other way around
@lizisamused Blaming the economy is the cope part, every millennial I grew up with that stayed in the Midwest was married w kids well before 30
The ones that didnt were pursuing big careers and moved to the coast
