Sad to think when I started back in 2015 and for years I stayed off twitter worried cause I was an older ARMY. Now I proudly use my☝️ account to connect with ARMY of all ages and backgrounds. 🙏 💜 w/BTS we have #20millionreasons
Some of you are genuinely some of the most toxic people I’ve ever seen. I’ve been a fan of Western acts before, and I’ve never seen this level of obsession and toxicity from a fan towards an artist. Y’all aren’t perfect, yet you constantly demand perfection from BTS.
They’ve done and will continue to do things that not all of us agree with. That’s normal. But instead of having a respectful conversation, some of you drag them for every little thing, tear apart everything they’ve ever done, and even twist the things they’ve stood up for. Some of you say you were fans for years. How can you still believe they’re terrible people? You even wait for the tiniest mistake just to link them to everything evil in the world while holding them to standards you don’t even consistently follow yourselves or expect from your friends and family.
You can disagree with BTS without dehumanizing them. You are making fun and jokes about everything they stood up for, calling them names, doing everything but letting go, and unstan. Why? Just why..
the way y'all moved i am sorry you were worse than antis and I will never call you the best fd ever. you questioned their characters, their upbringing and artistry. Insane discourse happened in the past 2 days which shows u HATED those boys. wasnt abt being disappointed anymore
RM, of BTS, gets his feet wet as a curator at SFMOMA this fall, displaying 145 works from his collection of Korean modernists alongside art from the museum. The curator found “beautiful synchronicities.” RM calls it, “a bridge between cultures.” https://t.co/MOMPuwitub
"i'm disappointed in namjoon" okay and namjoon was disappointed in armys for not supporting his solo albums and y'all did nothing about it.
guess everybody gets their turn to be disappointed. we're even now.
THIS IS WHY THEY WROTE "NORMAL"
🐨: "Normal is a very sad song. I wrote the lyrics in Korean and then changed it to English for radio and stuff, but yeah, there is a Korean version of Normal"
🐨: "One day you love me, one day you say you hate me fine make me bulletproof, so that I won't die even if you shoot me. There was this keyword of Normal. But what is normal for us? As we live as BTS what is the normal for me? Someday people tell me that they love me and the other day they tell me to get lost just like a very toxic couple. People put us high 1000 times and pull down 1000 times too"
🐨: "Wish I had a min just to turn me off"
Fine this is the life that I've chosen and all mistakes are mine but I can think about having a min of shutting off from the people. This doesn't mean that I wanna give up on my life but I can hope for people to forget me for a moment. I think that's the feeling behind writing this lyrics. Now that I see this song is really sad too"
🐨: ""Fantasy and fame yeah the things we choose"
We're accepting that we've chosen this fame"
