NASA was sued by atheist Madalyn Murray O’Hair after the Apollo 8 astronauts read from Genesis during the first ever orbit of the moon.
Her lawsuit was eventually thrown out, but NASA responded by requiring its astronauts to tone down public expressions of their Christian faith.
Here is the Apollo 8 crew’s Christmas Eve message to humanity from 1968:
You have probably seen this picture of Abraham Lincoln’s first inauguration. But look closely… have you ever noticed the statue?
It was called “The Rescue” and the sculptor was Horatio Greenough. It depicted a White settler defending his family from a native warrior. For about a hundred years, it stood prominently at the Capitol as an honest reminder that our nation was forged in blood and conquest.
Unfortunately, it was an early victim of wokeness all the way back in 1958. Native groups complained and it was eventually removed from the steps of the capitol without any public debate.
But surprise, the workers “accidentally” dropped and shattered it and the pieces are currently in government storage.
When we win, we’re bringing it back!
