AI “vibe coding” could become one of the biggest problems for game stores like Steam, according to Circana analyst Mat Piscatella.

Vibe coding uses AI to build games from simple prompts, speeding up new project creation and Piscatella warns that this could also make it easier to copy successful games and quickly release similar versions.
