To be fair, it looks like Fox finally figured out which games are worthy of a noon kickoff. The sad part is that these are their A games for “Primetime”.
When is the B1G going to require their teams to play another P4 team like every other power conference? You guys are so tough now . What’s holding you back?
NEW: Texas A&M head coach Mike Elko on College Football Playoff expansion talk:
"What does Mike Elko want? 40. Then I won’t get fired. It's ok to make it hard to get to the playoff."
Elko continued: "None of us are answering for the good of the sport. We’re answering for the good of ourselves."

Most likely site for Clemson-FSU game in 2028 is Orlando or Nashville. Neutral site possibilities for Clemson-Georgia in 2029 and 2030 include Atlanta, Charlotte and Dallas.
Comparing College Football to MLB should be a fireable offense. Petitti should be removed from his position immediately.
The B1G and Fox Sports are doing their best to destroy college football.
Petitti: "When you go to 24, you unlock a lot of really good ideas and a lot of really good opportunities." That's an obvious reference to a B10/SEC scheduling arrangement. He added that at MLB, he never had to convince people that having more people in the playoff race was a good thing.
The issue that the Big Ten coaches are most animated about at Big Ten meetings? The new/complicated punting rule (below), as the Big Ten coaches are 18-0 against it. Iowa’s Kirk Ferentz, a longtime punt advocate, was among the many animated coaches. “There’s no compelling reason to change it. It was already perfectly fine.”
NEW: The Big 12 and ACC support a 24-team College Football Playoff format, commissioners Brett Yormark and Jim Phillips tell @Brett_McMurphy🏆

🚨BREAKING: Portland Trailblazers owner Tom Dundon could move the franchise to another state
Frustrations are growing as Portland politicians aren’t taking the relocation threat seriously
I don’t see how college football in 2026 and beyond will resemble college football in 2018. I could even make the argument that it is vastly different than it was 5 years ago.
A 24-team College Football Playoff format would be disastrous for College Football.
In 2018, if a 24-team CFP format existed, it would have included SIX 4-loss teams and even 5-LOSS Northwestern as an at-large bid…
That Northwestern team lost to 4-8 Akron at home, lost to Duke by 14, and lost to all three of the Top 15 teams they faced. That is who people are currently arguing should make the Playoff.
The regular season would be annihilated, bowl season would be finished, losing wouldn’t matter, making the CFP wouldn’t even be an accomplishment, and all for what? To watch these teams get smoked by the real contenders?
College Football is not College Basketball.
College Football is not the NFL.
College Football is not the NBA/NHL/MLB.
The enormous implications of each Saturday during the REGULAR SEASON is part of what makes our sport so great.
The coaches on the AFCA Board who voted to support expanding the playoff to 24 basically just gave the middle finger to each fan, because they’re literally rooting for CFB to become a watered-down, corporatized NFL Jr. and a shell of its former self.
