Eerie skies at #kassiopi tonight. Tonnes of smoke and pockets of flames catching hold near the town. Multiple helicopter water drops contained some of it. Fires still burning higher up the hillside #CorfuFire

@wordmongerbc Ok. Right now things seem focused up in the hills. There are planes dropping water but shops and restaurants that were open last night are open again today. I wouldn't cancel your holiday

@tanjajuffie Nope, on holiday here for our second year. Kassiopi was all open this morning. The fires on the hillside that we saw last night appeared to be out. There are still planes and helicopters dropping water to make sure it's all out
