Q.1 In a previous interview with Esquire, you said that seeing Michael Jackson made you want to become an artist. You also recently attended the premiere of the film Michael. How was it ?

🐣: I’ve been looking forward to it ever since the teaser came out. Since I often mention in interviews that I’m a fan of Michael Jackson, I was grateful to be invited to the premiere and went to watch it. This is a bit of a TMI, but I think I cried about five times while watching the movie.

Q.2 among the members, only you attended the premiere. Did you talk about the movie with the members afterward?

🐣: I’m the type who likes to reflect on things by myself, so I didn’t really talk about it much with the people around me. But if someone asks me how the movie was, I’d gladly tell them. That it was really, really good.

Q.3 What scene moved you so much?

🐣: Since there are probably people who haven’t seen the movie yet, I’ll answer without giving spoilers. I got emotional when the songs from Michael Jackson’s Jackson 5 days came on. They’re songs I’ve been listening to on cassette tapes since I was three years old, so hearing the music made me feel like I had gone back in time, and that really hit me emotionally.

para mí igual a heeseung no lo sacaron para seguir con el lore, creo que simplemente lo estan usando para luego justificar su regreso pero definitivamente lo sacaron para crear las dos fuentes de ganancia y q por el mal recibimiento en el fandom y la protesta que continua, dijeron bueno vamos a hacernos los boludos.

yo sé q todo lo q está pasando y todo lo q nos espera es bastante tedioso y cansador, es horrible no poder emocionarme del todo por todo lo q antes me hacia feliz, es horrible no sentir la misma chispa con todo pq no me siento completa, siento q me falta alguien y ese alguien es heeseung, eso q me falta es el grupo entero, verlos a todos juntos como los conocí, ver a mis 7 sonreir y ver como se acompañan como siempre lo hicieron.
Me duele tanto la situación, en como prefieren tacharte de algo cuando la situación es mil veces peor, literalmente SACARON a un miembro, está la oportunidad de devolverlo haciendo ruido, nos dan motivos todos los días, el como la empresa recalca a muerte q son 6 y después vende cosas de 7, deja a la deriva a heeseung con todo su cb, le meten más carga a enhypen con el cb que están preparando EN MEDIO de un tour, y así puedo seguir nombrando. Son motivos CON PRUEBAS!!!!! no nos sacamos todo del orto pq la empresa literalmente sube todo TODOS los putos dias. Si eligen pasarlo por alto y hacer la vista gorda ante todo lo q pasa, eso es SU problema y un tema MUY distinto a la realidad que quieren imponer.

Yuta about his struggles after debut

He mentioned that he couldn’t be genuinely happy when he was decided to debut, because seeing his seniors with 5-member, 7-member groups and then having discussed the concept of NCT with them, he got worried if that would be okay.

He also mentioned his struggles whether he’s straying away from the concept he had liked. Because when they were trainees, hiphop concept weren’t that common yet and they were trained for different things. He said it got to a point where he was already telling the manager/s(?) he can’t do it anymore until he met Rino Nakasone-san during The Link.
