Great work @TheStrokeAssoc highlighting that stroke effects people of all ages! I’ve treated patients who have had a stroke from age 3 to 95..
Proud to be an OT working in #strokerehab#ESD 🧠
We're super excited to share our TV advert! Stroke changes lives in an instant, but the brain can adapt. And so can you.

Congratulations to our colleagues in Maternity who won the national Green Midwifery competition led by the Centre for Sustainable Healthcare last week.
They’ve been running a project to improve care and support for women with severe nausea and vomiting during pregnancy.
Fantastic visit with the @NHSCTrust Occupational Therapy Dementia team today in Holywell hospital. Truly inspiring group of staff, changing lives in their community @RCOT__Karin
I never fail to be moved by the effects of finding someone’s #music#language at the advanced stages of #dementia. This lady used to be a church organist - see how she responds to hearing this familiar hymn. Please remember ppl never stop #listening@MusicforDemUK. #EOL#care 🎶
Activities aren't just good for us for our mental wellbeing, it's about the cognitive stimulation. If it's something you enjoy and can build mastery then it adds huge psychological benefits. This is no less important post Dementia diagnosis. Really important 👍👍👍
