How could this not be a great read-aloud?! As a musician as well as a narrator, this book is great. It gives you the rhyming cadence but the story also builds to a sort of "crescendo" like a great piece of music, then decresendos to end in a simple repeat, like a chorus "outro".

If you're looking for another great read-aloud, check out @sandraboynton books. The rhyming and silliness make her books so fun! You can vary the cadence (speed) and the volume of this book, making your voice very soft and hypnotic at the end, lulling your child into sleep... ;)
