At the risk of being labelled a lefty lunatic. Someone needs to acknowledge that fuel is also important in providing habitat for biodiversity. We can’t simply strip the fuel from ecosystems without crashing our biodiversity.
"Wild dog" is a euphemism for dingo. Ancestry analysis on 783 dingoes from NSW led by @kyliecairns shows that less than 1% of animals were feral dogs and that most animal's genomes were at least 75% dingo. One in four animals were "pure" dingoes. doi/10.1007/s10592-019-01230-z
