I’m on a (paid) maternity leave, with time on my hands, food in my fridge, a roof over my head and enough anger and frustration for many.
So I challenge you to pause and reflect today on the past 364 days where society turned its back on mothers.
It is very difficult right now to get an appointment for a Covid test in Ontario.
But please don't direct your ire at folks working in the testing centres.
Many people at many hospitals worked very hard over the weekend to implement online booking systems, new workflows, etc.
Threads were intended for major shifts. Things that couldn't be explained in 1 tweet. We'd planned to use one every 6-7 weeks. But this is our third thread in a month. And we're writing this one because we've hit a critical point. We'll get to that, but first let's chat.
