Finally got close to finishing the GPT Plus quota this week , thanks to Astra.
I like how well the entire product understands drawings, taking a sketch to transform into ref sheets and then blender model. Just surprised how usable Astra is under a lightweigh sub.

I wasn't intending to touch Astra but i figured to get it to turn character reference sheet into a blender model just for fun, it took no more than 30% of my 5 hour quota ( Plus sub) and produced a convincing model with rigging. Wonder Sol's capable of it too?

sounds like a rant but I was hoping not to retain the O/S
my online account primary login change was an edge case I never thought would have affected the admin login, there were no signed of it failing till I had to reset the bitlocker.

After a motherboard replacement on my Thinkpad, Microsoft’s cloud-based sign-in policies left me in a "PIN reset" death spiral with no way to recover my own admin account.
Replace yet another W11 with Kubuntu. At least I don't have to deal with bitlocket too.

Microsoft's recent commitment to Windows quality: addressing taskbar flexibility, update disruptions, Copilot intrusions, and reliability is very much welcomed.
I liked Windows 10 for its developer-friendly features and gaming ecosystem, (and being able to move the taskbar the way I want). Windows 11's features felt imposed.
After decades of dual-booting, I fully transitioned to Linux three years ago on a whim and was suprised how much it got out of my way so I could do things I wanted to do including games.
My ThinkPads still run Windows, but with the MacBook Neo being so attractive, the path forward is unclear.
Such commitments are positive, but after years of top-down decisions that forced rather than accommodated user preferences, I've routed around what does not fit. Interesting years ahead.

@ArgenTo46 I used it for 2 years until I gave the machine away. I liked that UI.
Am using KDE 5 and 6 in my current machines ( Kubuntu and KDENeon), all using some sort of windows UI theme.
