@sibaburck one compromise i can think of is like a contraption that keeps smaller animals safe that you could setup but then that basically becomes free game for anything else looking to eat so idk

@sibaburck but if you let them stay out they'll be caught by birds and wild animals. mind you humans aren't the only species that hunt for sport as well so at some point you have to realize that you can't really do all that much for them unless some offbrand zoo is willing to take them 💀

@sibaburck i even refilled the water for him and gave him a jacket and blanket to use to stay warm. though i wish i could've done more for the guy tbh

@sibaburck but to do that you'd need to train the rats to understand a trade system of give and take. as for the homelessness part i once caught a guy trying to find stuff to steal from our neighbors and then he moved to our area and i offered him water and a hot pocket

@sibaburck @Hyper_Falcon if you care for animals and wildlife so much then let the rats live in your house rent free and eat whatever they want. for them its much safer there than outside where they'll be ragdolled and played with by other animals just for fun
