"Durante gli scavi, gli inquirenti hanno recuperato i resti di 117 cani. In un'altra area di scavo, sono stati rinvenuti 21 crani, centinaia di ossa e sei microchip sparsi", hanno dichiarato le autorità in un comunicato stampa. Gli investigatori hanno inoltre individuato, all'interno di un fienile, uno spazio ritenuto il luogo in cui i cani sono stati uccisi. Nella stessa zona, sono stati anche trovati oltre 600 collari.
