YouTube lowered the requirements to join the Partner Program

New Requirements:
- 500 Subscribers
- 3 Public Uploads (in the last 90 days)
- Either 3000 Watch Hours OR 3M Shorts views in 90 days

This unlocks Fan Funding (Channel Memberships, Super Chat, Super Stickers, and Super Thanks)

Huge for small YouTubers because it gives them the ability to get their careers started earlier

The ability to Monetize your videos normally will be unlocked when you hit the existing YPP requirements

But this new criteria will let you start earning $$ earlier

Teaching should not be a life-threatening profession.

Educators should not need to be armed to feel safe in the classroom.

We must do more.

I continue to call on Congress to pass common-sense gun safety laws to protect our kids and our teachers.

@BN_care @BNBuzz You do not have a free program for educators anymore. I am not paying $40 to get 10% off. That's insane. This is very disappointing and many schools across the country will feel it.

Shame on @BNBuzz @BN_care for getting rid of the B&N Educator membership and discount. It was crucial for stocking my classroom library. That 20% was needed. Not sure how my students are going to be able to get new books in the library now.
