I just finished Powerless and that was… a task. When the second book comes out in a few days, someone please tell me if Kitt gets his revenge by killing Paedyn. I hope he does.

It felt like the writing was calculated to be a tearjerker but then, it failed at even that. Some part failed to make any sense.

I did not hate it but to me, nothing really happened and thus, I was bored all throughout the book.

I did not enjoy this book as much as I was hoping to. The idea of the book promised something interesting but it fell way below my expectation. The storyline was boring and the people were not interesting enough for me to even remember a single character’s name.

I think I’m gonna cancel my subscription soon. It’s too much money for me at the moment to be paying £55-£150 on just shipping alone (just for like 1-5 books), every single month, not taking into consideration the actual book costs.

Super disappointed with their June YA pick. The author has confirmed it’s a standalone but it’s very much tied to another book that I literally cannot finish (did not even get to 40%). On the other hand, I want to keep the box for their Adult pick.
