“Simba? Ah Simba… it seems like we end up talking about only heavy topics. It’s quite awhile since Simba can’t go for walks. Not too long ago, we went to the vet, took x-rays and did some checkups. They said its hip joint had loosened. They said Simba’s hip joint has loosened. Since he’s 12 years and quite old. So when at home, I’m with Simba… it’s upsetting isn’t it? It’s very upsetting. That’s right, when did Simba become an old man? You know how people calculate the dog’s age by multiplying it by 7. Since he’s 12 years old, so he's 84 years old. He’s a large breed so it’s a bit more… but Simba’s face is still like a baby's. He’s still so much like a baby. Even at home, actually, he can’t walk well. There are times I have to help him to stand up and there are other times he stands up on his own. I get him to take medicine and injections but it doesn’t work out well. Since Simba seems to be limping a little on his hind leg and having trouble walking, I tried a lot of things. We also went to the vet often. But Simba really hates riding cars. The vet is not a walking distance so we have to go by car. But the moment we come back from the vet, his condition falls apart. He has such a hard time going to the vet a few times so he started spending time lying down. When you look at the photos of the day we went to the vet, he looked happy. Even though, of course I would upload the photos in which he looked happy. But actually, Simba is struggling a lot. We can’t keep bringing him to the vet because he’s in pain so I wondered if he needed surgery but the head doctor doesn’t really recommend it. There are times when he feels good but when I look at Simba, it’s quite… like that. So at home, Simba… that’s right, the surgery is quite dangerous for an old dog like him. The anesthesia itself. Also, since Simba is big, I don’t think there’s an artificial hip joint that fits his hip joint. Anyway, I have discussed a lot with the head doctor. There’s an injection called Librela that he receives once a month which helps to control the pain. There’s also a new medicine which is newly developed. I have to bring him for the treatments but the moment we get to the vet, he struggles so much. If I could carry him there, I would do it but I can’t really do that. I just hope he gets better. There are also medicines that he frequently takes so I worried it might strain his liver. If you ask if dieting would help, Simba really doesn’t eat that much. You know I have taken care of Simba longer than anyone else. I don’t really feed him much. He really eats a little. Exercising and doing something is not easy for an old dog. Everyone, please take care of your pets well so they don’t get sick. That’s right, Golden Retrievers often have hip problems. It feels like we want to give our hips to them.”

🎸When I heard that Dokyeom was going to be joining the show, after our first day of filming, I contacted Hoshi, who is currently serving in the military. When I told him I was filming with Dokyeom, he said:
“🐯Hyung, how’s dokyeom?
🎸Dokyeom is a bit shy around new people. It seems like he’s trying to get comfortable
🐯He’s the funniest guy, so I really hope you can bring that funny side of him out as soon as possible~”
🎸I took that as my mission. By around ep 8, I think we managed to bring it out
🐰Hyung really helped me a lot. I was so grateful
🎸You shouldn’t just watch ep 8. You should watch from ep 1 through ep 8. I think then you’ll really be able to see how he gradually improves!

- when hes in military he watched yh gives singing tips…(night runner release) and he wanted to be good at it (singing) like that. and actually applies (the skills) this time for this cover

- for him, yonghwa is a very good singer & hes always proud of yonghwa’s everytime. since hes been listening to him since middle school (?)

- usually before any recording..he will have to listen to the “audio file” (like a demo) only singer’s voice is extracted out so basically a solo without instrument. so after listening to yonghwa’s solo. dawon feel like yonghwa is probably one of the most bestest singer out there

- dawon said he really likes the song. especially the song gives a very “warm, cozy fluffy” feelings. eventho these days he prefers upbeat songs but “would you” is really nice for him.
