@ServantScott @cavs@NBA And you could also say "regular season" Ty Jerome has been MIA this series. I loved him all year but man he's struggling right now.
It's difficult to think about "failing". But success isn't about perfect ideas, opportunities, or guarantees. It's about imperfect ACTION. It's about starting before you're ready, learning as you go, and being willing to look foolish in the pursuit of growth.
A current coaching client hit me with a powerful question the other day:
“What do you think your life would look like if you never hired a coach?”
Without even thinking, I knew the answer:
I’d still be a financial advisor making good money, taking 2–4 vacations a year…
But I’d be checking my phone every 10 minutes.
Constantly “on.”
Tied to client questions.
Stuck in the belief that I was too important to delegate anything.
In my head, I was the business.
If I didn’t answer the email, something would break.
If I didn’t take the meeting, we’d lose the deal.
And because I had no outside perspective, I believed that was normal.
Hiring a coach helped me do something I couldn’t do on my own:
Detach from the business I built so I could build a life I actually wanted.
I tripled my revenue, worked fewer hours, and finally started seeing the possibilities beyond the daily grind.
If you’re in the same boat—making decent money but feeling stuck, constantly “needed,” and exhausted—I promise you this:
The business won’t grow if you don’t.
And sometimes the smartest move is admitting… you don’t need to do this alone.
@ServantScott Amen to all of that. Im sorry you are going through this but I’m glad you are putting it out there. That’s a big step. Get whatever help you need. Pray and talk to whoever can help get you through it. It takes work but will get better.
