Forcing function
A forcing function is an external stimulus that makes you get to where you want to be.
One of the simplest and most effective behaviours that you can try to help you level up is to keep creating forcing functions for yourself.
New in Recurrr v2.7.0 - Timezone support:
Previously, messages were in UTC (London time). Now, choose a timezone when creating your account or change it in User Profile. All times in the app will follow your selected timezone.
Managers of remote teams will love this!
New in Recurrr v2.6.0 - Faster onboarding thanks to Demo Channel:
We've simplified Recurrr for new users. Upon signing up, you get a ready-to-use channel, to send recurring messages immediately. Adding a channel is only necessary if you wish to send emails from your own address.
Happy to see more attention to recurring reminders!
PSA - Using Recurrr you can do more than remind YOURSELF, you can remind OTHERS. Without them even knowing it’s automated.
Today we’re rolling out a beta version of tasks—a new way to ask ChatGPT to do things for you at a future time.
Whether it's one-time reminders or recurring actions, tell ChatGPT what you need and when, and it will automatically take care of it.
@OpenAI PSA - if you think this is cool, you can also send “email reminders” - there’s an app for that.
Recurrr can send emails TO OTHERS, on your behalf.
Underrated.
