MISSING – EMMIE (15 Years Old)

Emmie has been missing since 9:30am on 12th August from Kimberworth, Rotherham.

She is white, around 5ft 2, with long brown hair. Possibly wearing black leggings and a white top. Known to frequent the Thorpe Hesley and Greaseborough areas.

Anyone who sees her or has any information should contact South Yorkshire Police on 101 immediately (quote incident number 436 of 12/08/2026).

Shirley Zimmerley, 69, from Cocoa, Florida, stabbed a horse multiple times with a knife right in front of a child at a therapy ranch.

Then she whipped it because she got frustrated with its behavior.

This happened July 27 in Brevard County. The kid went home and told the parents. Deputies showed up and found the horse malnourished, scoring a three out of nine on the body condition scale, covered in stab wounds and whip marks. Other horses on the place had open sores. She tried blaming a cat. Sheriff Wayne Ivey wasn’t buying any of it.

She’s booked on one felony and two misdemeanor animal cruelty charges. Bond set at $10,000. Ivey made it clear he’d rather set the bonds himself so people like this stay locked up.

This is pure evil. A therapy horse, already half starved, getting stabbed and beaten in front of a child who came there for help.

Anyone who does that to a helpless animal has something broken inside them. Glad Brevard locked her up. Keep her there.

We're appealing for information to help locate 15-year-old Luca who has been reported missing from Cottingley, Bradford.

He was last seen on the Shipley canal path, Bradford and was reported missing on Monday 10 August.

He is described as mixed race, 5ft 3ins, of a slim build with brown hair. It is believed he was last seen wearing a blue tracksuit, blue cap and Nike Air Max shoes.

Pregnant kitten left bald after her owner plucked out her fur 😡🤬 It is one of the worst cases of animal cruelty the RSPCA has ever seen. 💔

This poor six-month old kitten was nicknamed Velcro by RSPCA staff because she became so clingy after she was rescued from an horrific ordeal. 😢

Neighbours alerted the police after hearing the desperate cries of six-month-old kitten Luthien from a balcony.

Responding officers and RSPCA inspectors found the terrified animal with most of her fur ripped directly from her body.

A vet confirmed the owner repeatedly held Luthien by the neck before subjecting her to up to five minutes of agonising fur-plucking.

RSPCA Inspector Jess Araujo said Luthien was pinned down screaming in pain during the attack.

"This must have been terrifying and painful for her," Inspector Araujo said.

"She was also pregnant at the time so the added stress of this would have been awful."

Following her rescue from the flat, Luthien was taken into veterinary care where she safely gave birth to four kittens.

Her fur has since grown back and she has now been rehomed with 75-year-old Kathy.

Her former owner admitted an Animal Welfare offence in court, receiving a 12-month animal ban alongside a £40 fine and £100 in costs.

Figures from the RSPCA show the charity received 6,322 animal cruelty calls across June, July, and August last year—a 64 per cent rise compared to the same period in 2021.

She was reported missing in the early hours of this morning (11 August) at around 3.20.

She is described as a white female, of slim build, with short red and black hair.

She is though to be wearing dark pants, Nike trainers and a Nike tracksuit top.
