I like to tell my team: If you can't ignore the hype while things are trending up, then you can't ignore the despair when things are trending down. We need to develop resilience, ignore the noise, and continually make forward progress on our mission.
Ultimately being an entrepreneur is about pivoting from no’s, things that don’t work, and building on your work. You can’t win them all, you can’t please everyone, and you have to use those down moments as fuel to push up. So while it hurt, I’ll take the lesson.
If you’re not excited to compete in your niche, pick another one.
Competition will happen, and you have to be comfortable to consistently innovate and evolve.
All you need is a few big winners during your lifetime to beat the market. Everyone will say you got lucky, but everyone else didn’t have the courage to find them, buy them, and hold them. In the end luck has very little to do with it.

Biggest mistake I see people make is trying to make money. You don’t make money by trying to make money. You make money by developing valuable skills. Focus on skills long enough and the money is inevitable
